Just to clarify... for Mr Rogers Fans (those who even remember him) don't take too much offense. Making a point!
I have never heard so many soft-voiced preachers, in the fifty years that I have lived, as I have in the last five years or so. During many of the sermons I half expect to here the "ding" of "Mr Trolley" coming to take us for a grand tour of the neighborhood! While I never did the get the thrill of that show, even as a kid, I don't want to dog Mr. Rogers because he in fact was talking to little kids. Why in the world would adults want to hear someone talking to them like this?
Listen preachers, and I am talking to men in particular. Being effeminate is biblically a very bad thing. I'm just talking to you straight right now... even denominations that I am familiar with and grew up in like the Church of God (Cleveland, Tn)... other Pentecostal and Charismatic churches which dip out of the Lee Universities minister graduate pool in order to fill a ministerial spot... you well could be in trouble. I know all of the leadership likes to ignore a major problem but you have a major problem to contend with. Homosexuality and Lesbianism run deep in that school. I know... I shouldn't be judgmental and all but what with Lee being a Christian school and not a secular school and the kids coming out claim to be a Christian... I will judge although I do so very carefully.
I know that there are some who were practicing homosexuality but stopped. I also know that Lee has plenty that are still very much active in that sexual immorality. Let me say this though... those who have stopped the sexual part of this sin but you still swish around like a girl... talk like a girl... act like a girl... you are still bound in sin. You are a man and regardless of what your psychologist may tell you, there is no "feminine side" in a man. If you talk, walk, and act like a girl and you have the physical attributes of a man then you are a man and an effeminate one. In other words, you are a celibate homosexual.
I hear and see many in pulpits across the country that are much the same way and we need to stop. If you want a pastor that is in touch with their "feminine side" then hire a woman or go to a church where there is already a woman pastor. The only "feminine side" a man should be in touch with is his wife. Get the girly-men out of the pulpit. Otherwise, you too will be just like the Episcopal Church in the next 20 years should the Lord wait that much longer.
REPENT! TURN BACK TO GOD! Redeem the time while there is time left to redeem!
