Another Year Nearly Gone

We're nearing that years end and as sure as night follows day...  the Prophelying has already begun!  Listened to some Christian Television yesterday and then spent some time perusing Twitter and Facebook pages and all the Wannabe Prophets are hollering loud!  You know the drill...  remember last year at this time?  Well even the year before last and the year before that etc?  They've gotten creative what with the economy basically tanking out here in the last six years!  All those blessings you were supposed to receive for pumping money into their ministry over the years when you had a little money left after buying groceries and paying the bills...  but you just never really got those miracle checks in the mail and no one sent you that letter saying that your debt was paid in full thus canceled!    BUT THIS IS THE YEAR OF MIRACLE FAVOR!!!!  You will see all sorts of folks coming up with special numbered amounts.  the 777 seed...  the 51.45 seed.  About the only number they won't come up with but should is the 666 seed, but I digress!

Listen...  We give.  We ought to give.  But don't fall for the silliness out there.  Even when these guys aren't trying to get you to give an amount specific...  they lie to you, telling you sweet things.  When they do that... you want to give and they know that.  Gone are the prophets like Nathan who had the courage to tell King David... "it is you o king."  Gone are the prophets like John the Baptist who lived anything but a normal life.  Prophets like Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Elijah...  lonely men because they spoke the truth in times when men didn't want to hear the truth.  I'm not silly enough to say there are none but get the point!  They are few.  Popularity is great I guess but when you read the Prophets in Scripture...  which was the popular prophet? Which was the prophet that folks flocked to in order to get a groovy word from God?  From Moses to the Apostle John...  these were men opposed by not only the world, but by the "church" as well.  Keep this in mind as the year comes to a close... Be smart and don't buy into the mess.

This is what God said to Cain after he gave God a half a sacrifice and was angry because it wasn't received like his brother's was.

Here is how we know that we love God's children: when we love God, we also do what He commands. For loving God means obeying His commands.

Cain represents our generation today. I see a lot of us in Cain. His half a sacrifice represents to me the way we today abuse Yeshua's sacrifice. The mainstream idea of living a life saved by the Lord is the most wicked perspective I know in existence. The deception is so great among humans who adopted it as truth, because like Cain they fellowship with God, but obey God the way they feel like it and not in the way that's commanded of them by God.

Cain also killed his brother. Yeshua said that one of the greatest commands is to love your neighbor like you love yourself. In the same way Cain was angry at his brother for doing nothing but what pleased God and killed him for it, humans are angry and kill each other daily. Humans today do the same thing. Jealous of others who prosper in the Lord, and mad because the Lord won't bless them the same way when they don't half please the Lord the way they do.

We are a Cain minded generation. Its cool today to rely on God in a place of almost being destroyed, but if you noticed that's when Cain begged God for mercy. He was afraid that the people would kill him without the Lords protection. Yeshua commands that we treat others how we want to be treated. He was afraid of being murdered yet he murdered his brother at the slightest whim of emotion. We ask God to protect us from punishments we just inflicted on another. We are a Cain minded generation..........

Get into a praying fellowship with God.....Get into a studying fellowship with His word. Read His word from Genesis to Revelation and learn from the mistakes made by humans over the years. Find Gods instruction and begin walking the Narrow Gate of applying it to your life until you leave this earth. Please. We as a generation are so far away from the will of God and like Cain we don't even know it. He thought his half a sacrifice was good enough for the Lord, our generation thinks we are good enough.....don't be deceived.......

How To Use Skype for Conference Call with The Oath, Gathering Oasis, etc.

If you want to join any of the teleconference calls by way of using Skype this is how you do that.

For example sake I will be using The Oath Movement Number and Code.  If you are coming in via a different group you just simply follow the same directions using their number and their code.

Open up your Skype and click on the upper "Contact" section to add a contact.  When you do that a box will appear.  There are a number of options and many make the mistake of putting this in the phone number section.  IF YOU HAVE the paid calling program with Skype then that will work. If you are using the free version, say you are overseas, then ignore that section and go down to the "SKYPE NAME" section and in that section you put the phone number without ( ) or -'s.  .... " 5308811400 ".  Then open up your skype as if you were just going to talk to someone normally...  click on that number and it will open another box as it connects to Free Conference Call.  When it connects you will hear a voice ask for the code.  Down at the bottom of that screen...  slide your cursor that way and a box will pop up with icons such as a phone, a plus sign, etc....  and there you will see a square box made up of nine other smaller squares.  That is your dial pad.  In that pad you type in the code 324248#.  Do not forget the # at the end or it will just prompt you to enter the code again.  Once done...  it will connect you into the conference call.

Any questions then ask.  If you try to ask me after 7:30 PM EST on the night of a call...  It is probably too late.  So perhaps test it out first so that you know you have it and then you're ready for the call.

In discussing issues of purity over lust with Eric Craven the last three weeks, this issue is one that always comes up.  In all honesty, there are truthfully very few doctrinal issues that will come up that this doesn't sooner or later become an issue because ultimately how one believes on this matter generally weighs heavily in the decision that they ultimately make.  By large numbers today, most folks claim the belief of eternal security in it's various forms. I Wonder No More

I remember even as early as 20 years ago, how I used to more or less avoid eschatology (study of end times).  I focused my sermons and even comments on-line more on issues that were pertinent to folks making it through the nasty now-and-now.  There were still so many things that I had studied that I just didn't see happening...  although I knew that it would sooner or later.  Much of that was how I looked at things as a United States citizen but face facts...  The U.S. was the super-power for many years and there was no denial of that fact.  So the idea that we aren't written about (clearly) in prophetic Scripture was important because there was no way that anything was going to happen over there without the involvement of the U.S.  I know there are some obscure passages that folks say is speaking of the U.S. and perhaps they are...  but it wasn't clear. Things that would happen during the last of the last days were going to be clear though and we just weren't there feasibly.  Too much I just couldn't see happening yet so I just didn't focus that much on that and just preached with the idea that every day folks died therefore it was always someones "last day" albeit not the "last days" in particular.
